To use our AI features, you need to train Bernard on your offering, your company’s tone, and provide sales and marketing collateral examples so he can learn how you speak about yourselves.
Bernard learns from the information you provide. The more specific and natural your inputs, the smarter and more relevant his results will be.
First things first, head to your settings section by hovering over your initials in the top right.
Select the tab called Train Bernard.
You now need to complete the following information about your business, and start providing examples of clients, collateral and marketing.
Describe what your company does, who you help, and what makes you different.
Keep it simple and confident. 2 to 3 paragraphs is perfect.
Add a few examples of your written marketing content such as blogs, emails, or social posts.
This helps Bernard learn your tone and communication style.
Include 1 to 3 examples of outreach emails that performed well.
Show Bernard how you open, create relevance, and position your offer.
List your current or ideal clients to help Bernard understand your audience.
You can include company names, sectors, or industries.
Explain why clients choose you. What makes your approach, data, or results better?
Bernard uses this to highlight your unique value in outreach and campaigns.
List the decision-makers Bernard should focus on.

Once your inputs are submitted, Bernard analyses your content and builds a model of your company’s tone, offer, and audience.
He can now start to generate outreach and prospect insights.
This might be the boring part, but the better your inputs, the better Bernard performs.
