3,400+ Companies Recognised International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day once again brought organisations across the UK together to celebrate the achievements of women, highlight equality initiatives and creating conversations around opportunity, representation and support in the workplace.

Last week, Honch tracked 3,477 companies publicly recognised International Women’s Day, sharing how they are investing in women’s leadership, mentoring, wellbeing and community across their organisations.

Organised an internal networking breakfast and speed networking session, encouraging colleagues from across departments to connect, share experiences and recognise the contributions of women across the club.

Finastra
Marked the day with a global panel discussion titled “Give to Gain: The Power of Paying It Forward”, alongside local office events designed to encourage mentorship, storytelling and allyship across its workforce.

Associated British Ports
Shared leadership stories from women across the business and highlighted long term inclusion initiatives, including menopause support policies, mentoring schemes and improved workplace facilities for women in maritime roles.

Carnival UK
Brought colleagues together through its Athena employee network, creating space for discussions on equality and running a book sharing initiative celebrating female authors across the organisation.

Alpine Formula One Team
Hosted a Women in Motorsport networking event at its Enstone base, focused on building community and inspiring more women and younger generations to pursue careers in motorsport.

Punch Pubs & Co
Sent senior team members to an industry leadership event focused on women in hospitality, supporting conversations around confidence, leadership and building stronger professional networks.
