Highlights from August
- Brompton Bicycle - One of its employees completed a coast-to-coast ride of 200+ miles on a Brompton Electric, raising funds for 40tude (colon cancer).
- Selfridges - Marked 10 years partnering with Centrepoint to help end youth homelessness by 2037. Summer activity included an in-store roadshow, a webinar focused on mental health support, participation in the Sleep Out, and ongoing fundraising and volunteering by Team Selfridges.
- Vitamin Well - Ambassador Sergio Turull completed a 2,500 km run across 50 Spanish provinces in 50 days, raising 150,000 to support childhood cancer initiatives and the renovation of a paediatric oncology unit in Granada, with 45,000+ locals joining stages along the route.
- Primark - As part of its Pride programme, Primark hosted a panel on belonging, visibility and allyship with charity partner Belong To, underscoring that inclusion isn’t seasonal - it’s every day.
- Just Eat - Pride in action across 11 offices and multiple countries: marches in Berlin, Wrocław and Dublin; a sold-out charity concert in Ireland; workshops and events; a UK partnership with akt supporting LGBTQ+ youth; and Pride Partner discounts to bring customers into the celebration.
- Jisc - Wrapped its Charity of the Year with Young Lives vs Cancer, presenting a cheque for £20,312 after a year of organisation-wide fundraising from sponsored walks to bake sales.
- Forterro - Employees voted Worldwide Cancer Research as Forterro’s first official charity partner. The charity has funded 200 million in research since 1979, and the teams met in London to kick off support for the months ahead.
