Entain, Discord, Volvo, and Mr Porter - these are just a few of the big-name brands shaking things up with new CEOs this month. Every new leader means fresh strategies and immediate changes across marketing, HR, finance, and tech.

At Honch, we're not just tracking these changes - we're diving deeper. We're profiling senior decision-makers across every key department, highlighting how new leadership reshapes company priorities and strategic directions.

Over 700 CEO changes tracked already this April:

At Honch, we've already tracked more than 700 CEOs steppinginto new roles this month alone and here are a few highlights:

Discord:

Discord named former Activision Blizzard Vice Chairman Humam Sakhnini as CEO. With his strong background in monetisation and scaling top gaming brands, expect Discord to dive deeper into advertising, micro-transactions, and stronger game developer partnerships.

Spirit Airlines:

Spirit Airlines is pivoting from budget to premium under new CEO Dave Davis, previously CFO at Sun Country Airlines. Davis will be overhauling Spirit’s marketing, operational, and financial strategies to reposition the airline in a competitive market.

Entain:

After a turbulent period, Stella David is officially at the helm of Entain. Analysts are optimistic about her potential to continue driving growth, particularly through the strong-performing BetMGM US joint venture.

Nestlé Americas:

Jeff Hamilton, previously head of Purina PetCare Europe, is now CEO of Nestlé Americas. His extensive experience positions him to maintain Nestlé’s dominance and push further growth across the region.

Mr Porter:

Luxury online retailer Mr Porter welcomes back Toby Bateman as CEO. With Jeremy Langmead also returning, Bateman’s mission will be to re-establish Mr Porter’s position as the go-to destination for men’s luxury fashion.

B&B Hotels USA:

B&B Hotels USA appointed hospitality veteran Amir Mustafa, who brings a strong record of operational excellence. Mustafa will lead a significant push to enhance customer satisfaction and accelerate the brand’s US expansion.

Volvo:

Håkan Samuelsson returns as CEO at Volvo Cars to guide the company through technological transformations and intense market competition, bringing strategic clarity and focus.

ABN Amro:

Marguerite Berard, former executive at BNP Paribas, takes over as CEO at ABN Amro. Berard’s expertise in efficiency and retail banking will be crucial as the bank navigates privatisation and aims to boost profitability.
